As a part of the program “Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR),” MDA organized a visit in the ABC cinema for children that are part of SOS Children’s Villages program.

At ABC cinema, around 20 children had the opportunity to enjoy afternoon watching the 3D animated movie “HOME.” For approximately 2 hours, children were entertained with the movie characters who were trying to save our planet.

For most of them this was the first time they visited the cinema; hence, they enjoyed it a lot. While having drinks and chips served for them, they were focusing to not miss any moment from the animated movie, which had many funny moments that made them laughing loudly.

Following the movie, they left the cinema excited discussing with each other events that took place in the movie. One of the children said that this was a very good experience, expressing the pleasure with a happy face. “I hope to come again and watch another movie because I liked it so much,” he said.

One of the teachers in this organization, after the movie, thanked MDA for this event. According to her, this was the first time for children to visit the cinema and after the discussion with children, she realized how happy they were for this experience.

In upcoming months, MDA plans to organize several activities which will involve children from Down Syndrome Kosova and SOS Children’s Villages in Kosovo. These activities will continue with visits in cinema, theater, sports games, picnics, etc. Part of MDA’s CSR program are also students of the University of Pristina, for whom the program will be organize training sessions and various lectures.

Since 2012, MDA has created a fund to promote Corporate Social Responsibility that would enable various businesses to donate funds for community projects.
